We are happy to announce the 8th issue of BLEACHED BLEACHED. This issue takes a step into the current project of a young design studio called Women. Women is Scott Barry and Neil Doshi, CalArts alumni and artists with work both far reaching and inventive.
Their current project is a five year experimental design studio, with multiple phases and geographies. This first year, entitled “Connections,” takes part in the High Desert of Southern California wherein they confront design from a very beginning point, looking at new models and forms for living, working and art. The work they produce for one year in each of the specific environments is determined by the context of those places, so the effect is well-rounded and the thought-process ongoing with different motivation and materials at each location change.
