Synonym Journal, issue 1: Ennui
The theme of the first issue is ennui: “to weary by dullness, tedious repetition, and unwelcome attention.”
Synonym is a biannual journal and website created by Leigh Patterson and Amelia Giller. Presenting a variety of contributors on a select theme, Synonym explores how we use and make images and information and how photography, fashion, fiction, collage, drawing, poetry and interviews can create a story about what we are all living.
