SOKOLL’S PAINTINGS, IN PARTICULAR, REDEFINE PAINTING WITH A GREAT EXPLORATION OF WHOLE AND PART THROUGH THE PHYSICAL QUALITIES OF PAINT. PROCESS REITERATES PROCESS WITH THE APPLICATION, REMOVAL AND RE-BUILDING THE IMAGE ON A NEW SURFACE. THE SURFACE THEN BEING AN EXCHANGE OF PAINTING AND SCULPTURE AT ONCE.
