Japanese Hataki Duster

The gentle hataki dusting wand is a delightful tool for cleaning the surfaces of your space, made by Shirokiya Denbe, a 7 generation broom company established in Tokyo’s historic Ginza neighborhood in the Tenpo era.  They are known for their long handled Edo Broom, a broom intended for cleaning and preserving tatami mats.

Made of silk habotai and black bamboo.  The friction of the silk removes dust without stirring up dust particles and the long wand enables cleaning spaces between furniture. Rinse the silk with warm water and soap.
